| What a pastor does… When a pastor arrives in a village area, he first needs to rent a house – as a home and to be used as a place for worship. Often, the pastor will have a family and he will also need to purchase a bicycle to allow him to travel to reach people.
Experience has shown that with time, as pastors go out to villages, lives are transformed as people hear the Good News. Through their efforts, many have come to know Jesus as their Lord and Saviour.
Reaching out to those in need... With training from the central supervisory church (JMHA) pastors are equipped to share the Good News in word and deed. As churches are established, they become places of spiritual and practical assistance to the villages they serve. Individual pastors work with the church JMHA in poor and unreached villages has been recognised and awarded by the local government. Read more about JMHAs work on their website, www.jmhammm.com
